Ok So with DM and her fig trees are still producing large Quanity  of figs . So any fig recipes ideas welcome please . Also made pear paste a few days ago but a little soft , properly needed to cook for longer , maybe need to add to cakes now .
These look interesting KAtie ;D But there are a few more here on the Forum.
Fig Jam
Fig Tart/ Cakey Thing
Fig Bars

I wonder if you could dehydrate them?

K Atie what a clever  son you have. The Hot Cross Buns look fantastic.

No cooking here, there is plenty of bread, the biscuit barrel still has some in, so it will only be dinner.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Pascha bread - a white bread with a sweet yellow center cooked in a coffee can to make a tall round loaf...

It's rising now...

GS requested that I take a Chocolate Fudge Cake into London for everyone tomorrow. The fudge icing was still a bit runny when I decorated it LOL.
Not a very good photo either. ;D

I made Thermomix Baking Bloggers Peanut Butter Cookies too.  I reduced the  chocolate chips to 100g but still too many. They are very sweet but DH enjoyed the couple he ate.

Your cake looks good CC.  Anything chocolate looks good :P :P :P

I made a Carrot Slice (cake) yesterday.  Family came today and it's all gone.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

GD came to help with unpacking. Made pizzas for dinner in the Pizza machine. Used frozen dough. We all had different toppings. GD potato and Rosemary, Ral potato and lamb and I had fresh tomato, potato and smoked oysters. All with a topping of mozzarella cheese.
