Hi from Anne in Sydney
« on: August 06, 2011, 11:28:44 pm »
hi everyone, my name's Anne and I've had a TM for nearly 6 months now.
My teenagers love it when I make sorbet and dips and what I love is that I'm no longer afraid of making pastry  ::.
Found a recipe of a chicken and leek pie on the forums yesterday and it was very yummy.
It's a truly awesome tool

Hi Anne and welcome to the forum!
Yes, making pastry with the TMX is a dream.  I used to make my shortcrust by hand and now it takes a couple of mn! Fabulous  :D

Hi Anne and welcome to the forum. You'll find this forum is just as amazing as the TMX and you will soon become addicted just like the rest of us. Pastry can be quite dauntin,g but as you have pointed out, it's just too easy now. I know one of the other members will post a link for you on another member's favourite recipes. It's really worth working through with quite a few quick and easy recipes.

Hi Anne, welcome to this great forum.  You will love it here, it goes hand in hand with the thermomix.
Here's the list Twitterpated alluded to. There are favourites of many of us on that list and it is certainly worth browsing when you are wondering what to cook.

Hi Anne and welcome to the forum.  Like you, I never made pastry until the TMX came into my life, now it's a breeze and I never think twice about making it (except when I look in the mirror - that often has the power to curb my pastry urge!).  Happy TMXing
