Hello!  I'm another Tablelander, but not a consultant...  :)  I went to Yungaburra markets today and got lots of fresh produce to make some ketchup, pasta sauce, stock concentrate and yummy meals in my Thermomix.  I have had mine 3 months or so and use it every day, on average 4 times a day!

Hi Everyone,
Gosh, all this FNQ talk is making me homesick! I'm a Cairns girl originally.  I'll be back visiting family at Christmas and I can't wait. I'm living in Canberra now and we had a freezing day - there's snow on the mountains at the moment.
Enjoy the wonderful warmth everyone and happy thermomixing!

i can't wait to make the sauces, stock concentrate, and basic stuff, once my thermomix arrives.

At the moment, we have so many mulberrys, so i can do a jam.
we often get loads of fruit and veges given to us, so it will come in handy.

very excited for next week.

Monday night isn't it.
its hard for me to go anywhere at night.
i never know what time my husband will come home,
a daytime one would be great, if possible.

a weekend class would be ok too.
Jo ( consultant) mentioned it, when i ordered my thermonix.

Hi Robyn, nice to meet you.

I LOVE Yungaburra.  DH & I stay there for our Anniversary each year and we also go up from time to time when we just need a break from the rat race.

Great to see another North Queenslander around.

Thermomixer, am I casting aspersions on your good name, by misinterpreting an innocent comment, or were you trying to start some sort of riot insinuating Queenslanders as a rule don't know how to use the internet?

I could write something here, but I will resist the temptation. ;) ;) ;)

It's a great forum anyway. :P

Another "North Qlder" originally here.... Yungaburra is one of my favourite places on the Tablelands (having grown up in Mareeba and Cairns). Family is still up there but I rarely get back to visit these days! :(

Welcome to the forum Robyn!  ;D

Thanks for the heads up Cookie.

I actually first came across Thermomixer's wicked sense of humour when he made a post about women belonging in the kitchen or something along those lines.  Can't find it now but I could see from his post and the responses that he is a bit of a troublemaker  ;)

Thermomixer, you had better be careful.  Last time I looked on Karen's Poll, there were more of us than you  :D

As I said in the post above - can't believe that more Vics don't join - we seem to be the backward state here !!  :-*
