We had banana oat pikelets this morning. Good, healthy food, then I drowned them in my yummy homemade strawberry jam.

I need to make another batch of granola. I made three large jars and my husband's onto the last one.

Today I made this lovely, healthy breakfast.  I loved it but DH not as much.  I made Greek style yoghurt yesterday especially for this.  He doesn't mind a little bit but not as much as I do, I guess it is a required taste even though I didn't use as much as the recipe called for either.   I'll amend the recipe for 2 serves so I can have it over 2 mornings when I make it,  though I will still make the same amount of the spinkle ingredients as I think this would be nice over other breakfasts that I have.

Not the best photo as the natural light on the porch wasn't the greatest, but you get the idea.  My only change would be to cube the watermelon for easier eating.  ;D

That's one of my favourites too Judy and is in my rotation.   :D

I've got something similar soaking overnight for me for tomorrow.  It's a very simple recipe called Blueberry & apple bircher muesli that needs 60ml of fresh apple juice added to the milk and oats to soak.  As I was going to use my juicer to make green juices today, I juiced an apple for it first before starting on all the other stuff.  The oats are soaking now.  Fresh blueberries and thin slices of green apple get added on top before serving.  The recipe comes from the Women's Weekly 21 day diet planner book, only 152 cals/serve too.  :)

These types of breakfast seem to keep you fuller for much longer I find. I've only ever tried burcher muesli once at a brunch and although I enjoyed it, I've never made it myself.   The chia pudding recipe I did today was different to what I normal do, this one had some yoghurt in it as well as the coconut cream and it was so creamy and delicious.

I was thinking of the Blueberry Maple refrigerated oatmeal that you gave me the recipe to.  That is so yummy.  :)

The one you've just had sounds nice too, love trying new (healthy) breakfasts.  :D

Today I had a mixture of honeydew melon, rockmelon and green grapes with a little Allbran and reduced fat milk.  A nice combination and a favourite of both of us.  :)
