No cooking here today - I had a long nap this afternoon. I was watching a thermomix thing on my iPad and fell asleep watching it. 😀😀😀
It must have been boring then cookie.

Mab, here is another one that might work, I have had the recipe for ages but never get around to making it, but I think I will have a go this weekend - I very much doubt that mine will look as good as the illustration, it is a butternut, red capsicum and potato puff pastry wrap https://www.tinnedtomatoes.com/2018/11/butternut-red-pepper-potato-puff-pastry-plait.html?fbclid=IwAR2lDn1HkVOGZR-pIBqUULLgi8wySLfEpL39IAJmr-9YmbPik-iM7i_4Y4M

Marina, thank you for the link.  I think I like this one and it will be easier to do than the one I was considering.

Yes Judy it was a bit boring.
Today I made some muesli slice for the freezer and some fruit mince pies. I put the topping from Cookidoo on half the pies.

Very nice Cookie.
I’m slowly getting my cooking Mojo back. Made yoghurt in TMX yesterday. It’s a bit difficult when I can’t find the ingredients. Still unpacking.
Yesterday I cooked lamb chops on BBQ. Steamed new pots and made cold slaw to go with them.
Last year I bought a cooking pan from Weber. It has a click on/ off handle. I’ve been using it for a lot of cooking. Very handy and would make a good Xmas present.

Chookie glad to see you getting back into cooking . When we use to take our camper trailer and baby Weber Q I got a couple of Weber pans with the removable handle they are the best we cooked everything in them including meatballs in sauce , eggs basically anything . They have lids too . I was thinking the other day how DH might get them out so we can use them on hot summer days at home .

Buttternut, capsicum and potato plait (the one I noted in an earlier post for Mab); vegan parmesan and bolognaise

Do you use a roll of puff pastry or pastry sheets for that recipe Marina, how many pastry sheets are needed please.

I didn't do the fancy plait, Judy, just a bottom sheet in a tin with a second sheet on top.  Generally the puff pastry you buy in supermarkets is vegan so I used the sheets because I wasn't sure that the rolls of pastry were vegan, maybe next time I will check that out.

Marina, the expensive Creame ? Spelling,  pastry rolls, made in SA, are butter.
K Atie love my Le Creuset pots. Some of mine are 50 years old, still perfect. There is a Le Creuset shop in the Emporium in Melbourne. With several, you can use the lid as a separate cooking dish. Also, the Weber brand sell foil rectangular dishes that fit perfectly in my AF.

Nothing here really. I prepared a rye SD to sit in the fridge overnight.

Thanks Judy and Chookie ... I didn't understand the reference to Caream / Careme at first, but Judy's post clarified that.  it was that brand I saw in the supermarket but it was on the bottom shelf and I couldn't be bothered to bend down ... lazy!  Pampass is vegan and that is what I used - it was also at eye level in the freezer - good marketing ploy; right in front of the customer!
