Thanks KAtie. Made a fruit tart today to use up leftover Puff pastry and leftover custard.
Inspiration came from recipe in Jimmy Barnes’ new cook book

Nice cooking Chookie.

I was up with the sparrows this morning as I had forgotten to make the trifle for today's lunch.

I didn't think about that Chookie, it would have been a lot easier.

I tried to buy some rye flour at the supermarket on Friday but they don't stock it :o :o  The young man I spoke to had never heard of it and tried to sell me wholemeal flour.

Sadly I've never been able to buy my rye flour at the supermarket. Surprising really as many people seem to use it. I get mine from bread places now and sometimes used to buy it from a health food shops if I was desperate but they want a lot $$$$ for it.

That's funny, it must be Farfallina's day today, I just made her broad beans with peas and pasta recipe, Alyce Alexandra's Choc Chip Cookies and a coconut, peanut and kidney bean stew.

I've made some more veggie stock. My last little bit went mouldy. I will keep this in small containers in the freezer. I then hope to make some fruit mince.
