Mab19 I roll out fondant icing and cut out shapes then stick on with water.

Thanks for the explanation Kimmy, they looked so perfect I wondered how you did them.

Today I have made the Quick Fruit Mince Slice and Chocolate Crinkle Biscuits to take out to the grand children.

A quick early trip to the supermarket to get a few last minute items for a birthday cake for DIL's birthday on Christmas eve.  Then some baking and now we have just come back from an open house viewing.  We have our home on the market so will need to find something for us to live in when we sell.

Kimmy, those cookie bouquets are gorgeous, how do you ice them so neatly. :)

Chookie that granola looks so yummy.  Is the recipe on the forum?

So far today I have made a lasagna for the freezer, Amy's Simple Shortbread Biscuits - very nice, Mrs Masons's Nuts & Bolts which we can't stop nibbling at & JulieO's Cheesy Garlic Bread.  Still need to make a fruit slice of some sort.

Nice looking brownies Michelle.

So far today I have made caramelised onions, pavlova for lunch tomorrow, tuna patties, cookies & cream fudge and still have a fruit mince slice to make.

Thanks for that Judy.  DH has already been into them and declared them a hit.  I will make another batch and this week and do as you suggest.

I made caramelised onions for the first time this morning using some red onions that DS brought home from the market.  I sliced up 5 onions put a dash of water in the bottom of TMX added the onions with 50g olive oil, 30g brown sugar & 30g balsamic vinegar.  Cooked them for 30mins 90deg speed 1 then upped the temperature to varoma for another 30mins.  They taste wonderful.  I don't think they will last long enought for me to make any tarts. :)
