I made some crumpets the other day. I used the Cookidoo recipe and found it delicious.

No cooking here.
Judy I remember when Tenina launched her first book. Several of us went along. She made chocolate Icecream using frozen avocado. It was very tasty, but no one noticed that it didnít completely melt. 😀😀😀😀

Not fun for you Marina. Take care.
We love the birds in the tree Judy. Years ago we used to Ďdoí heaps of olives. We always ended up with so many. In recent years we have left them for the birds. Often people ask if they can have some. Last year a lady and her daughter stripped the tree.  She made us some very delicious Baklava as a swap.

So true Marina. We had a slow cooked piece of beef, which was shredded, then pumpkin boiled in the juice from the slow cooker. It was all mixed together with pasta. It was surprisingly nice.

Thanks Judy.
The last few days we have had red tailed cockatoos coming to eat our olives. They mainly like the green ones, and split them open and eat the centre of the nut inside it. I love watching them and listening to them. You can hear them crunching the inside of the olive kernel .  They manage to make a good mess too.

The jams sound delicious Chookie. DD wanted some nice biscuits to take in for a friends retirement last week, so I made RTE Byron Bay cookies and instead of white chocolate put cranberries in. They were delicious.

Thatís good news for a start Marina. A couple of nights ago I had what Iím calling a gastric attack. (I want to be like all my friends on the forum😀😀😀). I sat down to dinner and felt very unwell. DD prescribed somac and mylanta. I began to feel better after a while. Iím still taking the somac as she suggested that would be best. My GP is on holidays, so I will wait until he comes back unless I become unwell. Iím steering very clear of anything with any type of fat in it. 😀😀😀😀

Oh gosh, you poor ladies. Marina I think you win the best/worst accident award though. Your DH will be locking you in the bedroom. Chookie be careful and Judy, itís obviously a very slow pattern to trying new foods.
Please take lots of care all of you.

Best to be prepared Marina, even if you do end up with a woozy head and shaky handwriting.
