GS and 2 friends for Dinner. Roast Leg of lamb , mashed potato, roast pumpkin peas and gravy. Garlic bread. Banana fritters and ice cream. I’m also making a chicken pasta casserole for them to take home.

You’re a great Grandma Chookie.

It’s so nice to have young people around. I had 4 for dinner last night. It’s nice to see the boys treating the girls with respect. We have great discussions about what they are doing with their work and study. They clean up after the meal and stack the dish washer.

That’s lovely Chookie. One of the ladies in our Tuesday car club coffee felt she wasn’t seeing enough of her grandchildren. She now puts on dinner for them on the first Tuesday of the month. It has been very successful.
We’re having sausages in home made baguettes. It has actually rained here today. Absolutely wonderful.

Heard on the weather forecast that there was a chance of rain in Perth, so glad to hear that it happened.  Probably not nearly enough, but it is so good to at least get some to help the plants, the people and water reserves.

Lovely to get some rain. We also could do with a bit.
Soup for dinner. I used the roast bone from the lamb leg. Added veggies and soup mix.

Rain needed here too. Probably nothing for tea seeing as I’m going out for lunch, unless there’s nothing on the menu I can eat which happens a lot.

That must be very disappointing Judy.

We’re having Chilli Con carne.

I ended up having a bit of my daughter’s fettuccine with prawns, you couldn’t even see where it went missing from her huge serve. At this time of the year you’d think hotels and restaurants would have soup on the menu.

Very true Judy.

We were unexpectedly busy this afternoon so had fish and chips for dinner. We went over to see how the motorhome schedule was going. Apparently it’s all according to plan at the moment. We will see if it keeps on track. We then went to look at Suzuki Jimney.  We will sell one of our cars and buy one to tow behind the motorhome.  All in the future at the moment.
