Port Hedland is one of the most humid places I know. Morawa got very hot 40+ almost every day in summer, but like Narrogin it was dry heat and easy to cope with. The same for Carnamah.
Broome was humid, but no where near as bad as Hedland. Gert and the Robyn's would have some humidity at the moment I should imagine.
It's been 40 here today.

I concur with the Carnamah heat. I was there 25 years ago. No aircoditioning in schools then. Best part of the day was the end of school when you could go swimmimg in the freezing public pool. Iirc the water came from underground springs which is why it was so cold.

Im sorta brought up near Carnamah, and every hot day we would be down at the pool until closing time. No mum there supervising like nowadays, but gee we had GOOD fun. We never misbehaved or otherwise we would not be allowed back in for the whole summer season. We swam and swam. Aborgines had to behave also, probably the pool manager had a little more pull  in his territory than the local police station cos it was so hot. Venture into the local park and you are on your own (a few stories here with my brothers but not so me phew)

I spent New Years Eve at the Cannington dogs with DW, step SIL and her husband.

CP step SIL lived in Carnamah when her dad was stationed there with the police. Her current husband is also from Carnamah.

Almost new year.
Got on well with paperwork, will carry on tomorrow.
Quiet evening In Front of gas fire . ( NOT ever the same as logs) LOL.
Found the choccie soufflé puts from the freezer. Excellent.

In bed now will see fireworks and go to sleep. This terrible year is nearly gone. But i must say it has not all been bad thanks to  *: and this fab forum.

Happy new year to you all, and your families, with special thoughts to ALL those on here who need a fair wind to come their way.  :) :) :) :)
