Hi All

It has been so long since I have posted- life has been extremely busy and I just went through a bit of a down patch with my TMX. I was trying to stick to a particular eating plan and just felt that all of my TMX cooking was contributing to me eating a whole lotta wrong stuff for my body so gave it a rest except to use for basic things again. But I have got a new wind... Made a couple batches of stock last night, mayonaise, have onion jam beeping at me as I type.

I have popped on occasionally to look at a post but look forward to being an active member once again now that I am out of hiding! :)

Hope you are all well and braving the lead up to the silly season.

Feels good to post again.

Hi Ladies

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems? Sometimes I am putting in very obvious things and it is returning with no results. :/ Then I try again an hour or so later and results will show up, same spelling etc? Bit perplexing!  :-\

Hi Ladies

Hope this finds you all well- sorry to be only popping on for questions and small contributions at the moment! Loving my TMX! Just wondering, is there a general rule of thumb with the MC as to whether you leave it in the lid or remove to let the steam escape during cooking?

I am currently cooking a curry that I found here http://themixingsessions.wordpress.com/ and unsure about whether to leave the MC in place or not? Any advantages either way?

Thanks again.

Hi All

I hope this is in the right place on the forum?

When I went out for dinner on the weekend I had a beetroot and raspberry sorbet on my desert plate! Straight away I thought of TMX but have no idea where to start with making it! Any ideas as to how you would prepare the beetroot?

It was amazing, the first flavour you got was briefly the beetroot followed by the gorgeous raspberry flavours.

Would love to re-create it!

Very excited about a week to go until my Thermie arrives! I am driving everyone nuts talking about it and i am soooo over cooking without it!

Look forward to joining the community and making some cooking friends. I live with my husband and my dairy intolerant 2 year old.

Couple of quick questions:

Can nuttelex be substituted for butter in recipes with successful results?

Is this forum used more frequently than the recipe community forum? Looking forward to attending some cooking classes too.

The countdown is on 1 week to go- until then I am looking at recipes and dreaming that it is in my kitchen!

CGL.
