This looks delicious. I think I saw it when I was reading the Taste bake challenge. I'll definitely try it.

I'm lucky so far, no trouble sleeping. Not long after we were married DH said I was like a chook with my sleeping habits, up with the sun and to bed with it.

I made this the other day and only used 300ml cream and 300ml of milk. I put some ferrer roche (??) chocolates in. Last night DH actually said yummy icecream last night. It was a bit icy but I guess that was the milk. Very nice.

I was reading the August issue of the British Good Food magazine with my morning coffee and they have much the same recipe in but only use ½ can of condensed milk with 600ml cream and vanilla.

I bought Donna Hay's latest book/magazine and Judy the icecreams do look lovely.

This does sound lovely. I've printed it off and will try it, we're supposed to get some cool weather later this week. Summer hasn't arrived and I'm tired of the hot weather.(today is only the 2nd day!)

My DH likes to pick chicken bones until they are bare. I don't suppose I could really use them for stock after that................or could I?  What do you think please? Would it be ok if it was only for family?

The prawn recipe sounds nice. I may try it with chicken.
Love the discussion. What is clootie dumpling please? If the cloth has to be floured it sounds nice.

Welcome Deb. I'm sure a Thermomix would help you with cooking for allergies etc. You will be able to make everything from scratch and then you will know exactly what is in it.
