We had a quiche tonight with a filling of roasted tomatoes and feta. I knew I had some short pastry in the freezer. I found it and used it for the quiche. As I was serving it, I nibbled on a bit of the pastry crust. I had used sweet, short pastry. Oh yuk. It just didn’t go. I was so cross with myself. It’s funny but tasted horrible.

I did that many years ago cookie, not a good match.  I hope you at least ate the quiche part of the dish.

Cookie, how disappointing. All not lost.   This is one reason why I love my chooks.  They don’t discriminate.

I needed chooks eventually Chookie. I threw half of it out, and I hate waste.
