Jaffles CC - I really used to love the one Mum had - second from left in the top row - it was much better than the electric versions we have today.

I loved the round jaffle irons too Judy. As kids it was a real treat to have jaffles for dinner. We used to pretend they were bras and run around being silly. Poor Mum.

My mum used to go off her brain cos I used to waste biro's by drawing. OMG we were so underprivileged - not. I have to tell you a story about my  neighbor kids that he told me today, when we are on the retreat.

You're so right CP.None of the above and to cap it all off we had to eat home made things all the time, like jam and icecream and cakes. We did get to take the farm vehicle and go out into the paddocks in winter and light a fire and cook black sausages and raw potatoes in the ashes. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Can't wait to hear the story.  Very hard done by and loved every minute of it. ;) ;)
