Thats odd NF, I would have expected the breasts to shred and the thighs to stay in pieces. That has been my experience anyway ???
When I read through everyones comments I was positive that is the way it was going to happen! I was very very shocked! The thigh was very succulent though!

Good idea Karen if you could get someone to do it - that person wouldn't be me as it is very tiring, back-breaking work.  Even a butcher wouldn't take enough fat off for my liking  ;)

We made this tonight - it was yummy!! We made it with chicken breasts but forgot to reduce the cooking time, so the chicken was a bit overdone, however it was still really tasty and we'll tweak it next time.  I'd also probably add some more cornflour next time as the sauce was very runny.  It will make a great salad dressing tomorrow though!!

Hi PAP well done on your personal goals, may I ask what we're you tweaks for this one? It does look nice.

This is how i have added this recipe to my "thermie" Cookbook ...as i try i add so i know they tried and tested  ;D

100grams of green beans (ends snipped and 1/2ed)
100grams Red capsicum strips
100grams of carrot strips
100grams of broccoli flowerettes
100grams of cauliflower flowerettes
50grams Celery slivers
50grams of sliced mushrooms
100grams of onion cut into 1/8's
2 x 2 garlic cloves
2 x 1 medium sweet chilli
2 x 20 grams of oil
30 grams of soya sauce -regular
440 grams packet of udon noodles
1kg of chicken thigh fillets cut into chunky cubes
100grams of soya sauce -regular
70 grams of ABC soya sauce (this is a thicker soya)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
130grams of  water
120grams of honey
1 teaspoon of paprika
2 tablespoons of cornflour
3 mc cups of salted cashews
2 handfuls of baby spinach
3 shallots lengths
1 mc cup of sesame seeds

Pre heat the oven to 150
place noodles in a bowl --cover with hot water from the tap, break apart slightly place a lid or a plate on top
add 20g oil to *: 2mins-sp1-100
add 2 garlic cloves and 1 chilli -chop-2mins-sp1-100 - MC lid in.
add vegies -cook- 3mins - :-:  ^^
add salt, 30 grams of soya sauce - cook- 7 mins  :-:   ^^
pour into thermoserver bowl cover with lid. (dont worry about cleaning  *: )
add remaining garlic and chilli - chop -5sec -sp7
add remaining oil - 2mins -100 -sp1
add chicken cook - 2mins -100-  :-:  ^^
add remaining ingredients -cook-10mins -100- :-:  ^^
place sesame seeds onto a tray  and pop into the oven to toast.
drain noodles well
Add noodles at the end of cooking time
Add cashews - 5mins -100 - :-:  ^^ (stir with spatula a few times) NO MC
Add two handfuls of spinach on top of vegies in the thermoserver--mix in. leave sit for a few mins while you chop shallots
Change Vegies into a bigger ceramic bowl for serving
pour chicken and noodles into serving bowl
remove sesame seeds and sprinkle over the top
then sprinkle shallots over the top

and it was very VERY very  delicious --- i found i had no sauce left over and it was just right.

I made a few tweaks including reducing honey and soy quantities slightly and adding some oyster sauce and using Chinese 5 spice instead of paprika. Yummy
