Last night we had Jamie's Turkish Flats, pg. 114  (15 min book - but took me 40 mins. all up).....was really delicious

Well wonder how many of Jamie's are 15 mins?

I know his 30 minutes book was reported as taking a lot longer.

I have not read or got either of them.

Bacon sandwich with sour cream bread toast for me, very yummy.

I find that getting the ingredients ready is the time consuming part.

It's northern Thailand Amy. A lot of the hill tribe people in the region are of Chinese origin  :) ( going back a long, long time )
Same as in Vietnam

One milk we dd was about 20 mins but was a basic one. Love the book :)

MF, havent been up to chang mai, mainly bangkok & phuket & koh samui

Same Hally .....  DH has been but I have only been to Bangkok, Pattaya (yuk) and a few of the islands. Looking forward to relaxing  :)

That's right Yvette....his 15 minutes could be 1 hour for us, but it doesn't bother me at all.
He has copped flak for it with some reviewers  :P but who cares....he has fantastic recipes.
