Title: Paul's Yoghurt Sauce for Greek/Middle Eastern Lamb dishes
Post by: Thermomixer on May 27, 2009, 08:45:38 am
Yoghurt sauce

Ingredients:

3/4 cup yoghurt
1/2 small red onion
1/2 bunch dill
1/2 bunch mint
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
grinding black pepper
grinding of salt

Method:

Finely chop the onion, dill and mint.  Add remaining ingredients and mix gently on 2-3 until it comes together.

Serve with pitta bread (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1081.0) filled with lamb patties (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1079.0), chopped tomato and lettuce, sprinkled with the sauce.  It's lovely with freshly made, soft, warm floury pitta breads
