Just felt I should say thanks again for this recipe. I have been feeling so proud of my bread using this recipe as a base.( my family are fed up with me saying how clever I am). Today made 9 large rolls ,plain. And a loaf with pepitos, sunflower and sesame seeds in and on( it just looks lovely and tastes wonderful) If I knew how I would post a photo( mind, I think my family would think I was taking things too far). THANK YOU.

Well done Bedlam. I am always saying "God I'm good" as well. Thanks to the TM I seem to have a lot more success with finished products

Bedlam,  my pleasure.  Go for it,  you can do so many things with a basic recipe.  I have started teaching the next generation how to make bread.  Had the 8 year old GD over to stay and she made 2 bread sticks which she took home.  Very proud.

Thanks so much for this easy recipe. Tonight was my third batch, I made them with 320g white flour, 200g wholemeal and I included 1Tbsp of Vinegar into the 300mls as a bread improver and they turned out great. Even DH said maybe the TMX isn't so bad!! Thanks again.  :)

Thank you!  The first time I made these rolls I think I was a bit impatient and didn't allow them to rise long enough, took the dough out of the tmx bowl, as I was in a hurry then couldn't decide if they had doubled enough!  Anyway, had another go, left the dough in the bowl as directed, and made the most divine bread rolls ever!  Was very proud of myself!  It's true--no fuss!!

This recipe is a little beauty Lellyj.  I mainly use this one now, just vary it by making different shaped rolls.  I would be happy to serve them up to Chookie herself - wonder if she would recognise them as being hers  :D :D

This is my base recipe for most of my bread,I love it. I put seeds in and slag the top, then sprinkle seeds along the top. Looks so pretty and always works.

Bedlam, so pleased you like it. GD, 6 years old, made bread roll'grapes''.  We put a little green food dye in with the egg wash for the leaves. You just pull a grape from the bunch to eat.  Great fun for the kids.

did you take a photo chookie? I just googled bread roll grapes and nothing came up. Would it be like the Flower Bread concept?

thanks frozzie - great pics - its very similar to the Flower Bread then, which has one roll in the middle and the others surrounding (like a flower)
