I had been having trouble with my bread maker turning out a good loaf so I started making bread in the Thermomix mostly with success, however I still wanted to use my bread maker as it's not always convenient to make it in Thermo. I had noticed a bug in the flour mix that I had been using in the breadmaker and the guy at the bread shop thought my failure to turn out a good loaf was due to this bug leeching all the protein from the flour. I bought a new flour mix and am pleased to say I have good loaves once more.
Just thought I would mention this in case anyone else experiences the same problem.

That's interesting Katj. It was obviously more than a weevil.

Katj, never heard of that before. Interesting.
Made a very different Ice cream slice yesterday. Uses yoghurt powder base as part of mix. Will taste test today and post it ok. No ice cream machine necessary.

Think this might really be an Oops photo.
1 and 1/2 Cookies Vienna loaf recipe. Thought it would be ok in tin with lid.

It looks really good Chookie. I would love a slice of it now with butter and marmite.
