You are right  Marina. I believe it is beginning to fine up later today. We have had a lot of very lovely rain.

I think it’s heading our way very soon cookie. Today was the sunniest day we’ve had for a while.
My DD has probably only one more day here at some stage to finish the painting, furniture has been ordered and my reno is coming together nicely.

Good news about you reno coming to a close Judy, you will be so happy when it is all done.  We still have a couple of months to go, but should be in well before Xmas.

Wet here at the moment and the forecast is looking like a fairly wet and windy day or two over here.

I spent a lot of today at a school that a close friend is Principal of. She set it up and it is now in its 3rd year. It is amazing. A beautiful set of buildings but I loved the atmosphere of the school. She has bucked the rules for many regular things and the Children have really benefitted from it.

What great news that your friends hard work is paying off in the school where she has become the principle Cookie.

I took Chance to the vets to have his annual vaccinations and checkup. He passed with flying colours. The staff always make a great fuss of Chance. Of course the staff have treats in their hands as a reward for being good. 😂

Well done Chance.
DH had promised to take a couple of gearboxes out to the Vintage Racing car group so I decided to go too for the drive. We then called on my brother who lived nearby for a coffee. Then the shopping this afternoon.

I took DS grocery shopping. We visited Lidl and Waitrose. I bought a bag of fresh Broad Beans in Waitrose. Even though the bag was 500g in weight, after shucking the pods it didn't yield many beans. But enough to share between DH and I for dinner tonight.

That's the trouble with broad beans CC, you think you have got heaps but by the time you have shelled and peeled them there is not much left to eat ... but what is left is delicious and worth all the trouble  :)

Whilst DD was painting this morning I tidied up the garage.  DD will be back for a couple of hours on Tuesday to finish the job. Her days off will be her own again.

The Home button on my ipad has been feeling a bit weird for the last week or two. It doesn't seem to depress enough and is hard to use. I checked Mr Google and he told me how to create another one, but this is only for when the ipad is open.
I took it to the Apple shop this morning. They checked it out and have said they will replace it. I thought it was well out of warranty but maybe not. I hadn't backed it up, so I am going back on Monday.

Being Fathers Day DS arrived with freshly made Chocolate Brownies, a sour dough loaf of bread and a roast chicken for his Dad. We ate roast chicken sandwiches made with the sourdough bread and vegetable soup for lunch. We then had a chocolate brownie each.

Lovely Denise, DS is so thoughtful.
Today I scrubbed the bathroom floor (yesterday I thoroughly cleaned my bedroom and en-suite), then went to gym before visiting Mum.

CC,  that is very thoughtful.  It is Fathers Day here in September.  Do you think he would like to visit us?

I pick the board Beans when they are little and slice them likeFrench Beans.  Ral doesn’t like broad Beans.

Judy you have been busy.
