I happened to be on the recipe community site yesterday and noticed the melting moment recipe had been posted with the new weights of ingredients and down the bottom it said it was the "tweaked" version of the one in the book.

I wouldnt say a correct list of ingredients and their weights is a "tweak" more like a correction. Obviously HO are not really owning up to these mistakes.

I thought the same thing when I saw people spreading around the "tweaked" version lovemythermo. I was thinking... what? "Tweaked"?? Umm no, the recipe didn't work the way it was. I made those melting moments before they were "tweaked" and they were awful, inedible. I appreciate that the book is for a good cause but I think it's odd that the consultants are the ones scrambling around in damage control trying to justify the errors while the TMX and Devil of a Cookbook FB pages have said nothing (So far!). I must admit that since it was mentioned earlier, I am now wondering where that $60 per head is going to...

And 30 mins after my last post (coincidence or not?) - The Devil of a Cookbook FB page has been updated! Mind you, they've only mentioned the melting moments recipe so far...

I must admit I was slightly sceptical that HO would be watching this forum as has been mentioned in the past but now I believe it. 30 minutes after I mention the "tweaked" melting moment recipe, and mrs thermo says its not on the FB page and lo and behold its been updated. Its no wonder consultants don't feel they can be on here having their every comment watched.

What has the consultant got to gain by doing that?  We all should ave the freedom to talk as we wish, she obviously thinks she's doing te right thing but if she could find her business suffers in the long range if she is found out she will loose the trust of quite a lot of people and any potential customers.

I would like to see more than one person taking on the job of reviewing recipes from the book! Interesting.

Sounds like telling tales from kindergarten.
she said this, he said that. :)

There are alot of us that have bought books and are not happy with them from HO.
Also, to have your consultant do a delivery demo quickly, then quit, which is what happened to me.

It took 18 months for another consultant to do a varoma demo, as I had the machine..

HO should be very happy with our forum. If it wasn't for this forum, I would hardly be using my TMX. Therefore telling everyone I knew not to get one. Now I rave about my TMX to everyone in earshot.
