I've just spent the last hour sitting outside at work reading the paper becuase the power was shut off for an upgrade.  It is a beatiful day outside.

I guess I don't have any excuse for not working now.  ;)

Our van is packed now and ready to go now except for the bathroom items and some fridge stuff.  We are heading off up the NSW south coast for a few weeks.

Can't go until Tuesday as I am booked in for a weekend of bread making classes.

DH is pacing and ready to go but I have been waiting for these classes for ages so he will just have to be patient.  :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

They certainly are. People who have not seen each other before, or for 12 months just chat as if they are old friends. Enormous fun.

Today I slept and did SS. I also managed to cook dinner and do 2 loads of washing. It was a beautiful day here.

Hey again everyone,

So I have been doing a bit more flying this time I took my folks up with me. Tried to take them to a country hotel on Tuesday but had to abort the flight on the way there as the weather was just too bad, however the flight on Thursday was able to be completed. Even then the weather was hard hard work!

I have tried to share a video file of me taking off from a rather cramped landing spot which had the biggest tree right on my nose given the wind direction.

For those remotely interested in the lunch location it can be found on the following link www.barnsdalelodge.co.uk and if you are 'really' interested you can find it on google earth by searching Barnsdale lodge, Rutland water, UK.

So, if the video link works you should get about 90secs of video. If it does work please don't anyone have any concerns about the manoeuvres conducted. I lifted but wanted to give myself as much visibility as possible so I decided to hover taxi over the fence to the left hand side of the helicopter, then turn into wind that wasn't being disrupted by 'huge great trees'. I then chose to depart the location by conducting what is known as a 'max power' vertical takeoff.

On a note that is even better.........I arrive accompanying a TM31 on Thursday this week to get back together with Mrs RotorChef to be - woooohooooo!
