Well done CP. Good things come to good people.

And it couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

Another denim jacket...cherry red....the wardrobe is now seriously bulging!

And I finally found a company in the U.S. that ships back issues of the romantic homes magazine I adore (and cheaper than here)......It was from December, and a friend has made a few comments if I still had it.....so I've bought it for her to add to her Birthday presents.

For the 5 years of collecting this mag, this Christmas issue still has me oohing & ahhhing  :P just gorgeous!

Maddy looks like a gorgeous mag. If I was to create a romantic home I would have to find a new husband LOL

CP that is karma because you tried to help someone. Even if they were a fiend.

Maddy I love the jacket it's beautiful.

I can't have frilly either. AS you know my DH loves restoring cars. Our family room lounge has grease on it etc etc. I can't ban him as this is his home as well as mine. When anyone mentions it I point out that he lives here and has the right to sit where ever he wants any time of the day. To be truly honest it is only a very small thing and there are other more important things to fret over. I learned to go with the flow about 44 years ago. I do love him even with his grease and goo. ;)

Love that jacket Maddy - beautiful colour.
Cookie you have the right attitude - make peace with imperfection.
No use fretting over a bit of grease.

;D  Cookie my husband is always covered in grease, mud and red dirt.
It would be funny to see him really clean all day.

Cookie my DH usually stinks the house out when he comes home as he has been working with sheep all day. We are often holding out nose until he goes and has a shower and puts clean clothes on. :)

DH is a mechanic and we also run a stockfeed store, so DH always smells of grease, oil, petrol and stockfeed.
I look at maddys lovely things and think "one day when DH has retired and DS has moved out"

Today I bought from Robin's Nest Kitchenware, this macaron thingy to make Mara's macarons from superkitchenmachine.com. No doubt Helene will scoff at my cheat "sheet"!

If it works, go for it Gretchen!

Love that jacket, Maddy!

I just got my Super Spatulas from Helene! Giving one of them to my DD for her birthday.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
