I made this dish tonight - wanted something tasty and easy, and remembered this old faithful 😊 I'm doing whole30 though at the moment so I can't have dairy or cornflour, I used a large handful of cashews and some tapioca flour instead. I whizzed up the cashews after throwing them in and it made the sauce yummy and creamy. I didn't fancy coconut cream in the sauce so thought the cashews would produce a similar result. It was so good!!! Going to use this version with lots of variations - love love love this recipe! Thankyou Baf!

Such a lovely group on here. Thanks for the replies :)
Cookie - so do you use 2 cups milk instead of the 1 milk +1 cream?
The second batch I cooked a little longer and they were even more perfect consistency wise, I think the first batch was a bit jiggly (but still delicious!)

I just made this for lunch - didn't have any cream so added 1 cup full fat natural yoghurt instead - delicious!! Such a winner and possibly a little healthier not using the cream? Not that I think it's particularly unhealthy - is just what I had.

Will be bookmarking this and making again... And again.... And again!

I used onion, mushrooms, corn, cheese & topped with half a cherry tomato and chives on each mini quiche. Didn't use bacon because I want to be able to eat them cold and I'm pregnant at the moment. :)

I know I am probably having a blonde moment, but does a plum already ginned just mean the seeds removed? Or has it been treated somehow?

Hi All
I had a demo last week with a new demonstrator (the demo I purchased from is no longer a demo), so that I could purchase the second bowl at the discount price.  We had the chicken veloute on the demo and it was absolutely scrumptious - was hoping to get a copy of the recipe and have asked for it a couple of times but no luck yet.  Could someone PM me with it?  I am dying to make it for my sister as I know she will love it!  (That potato & leek soup was divine too!!)

The pizza bianca was also heavenly - am going to make it tonight, YUM. :)  who knew making pizza was so easy!

Thanks in anticipation :)
Kim.

love my thermomix branded bread mat  - it's not too expensive either and you can use it in the oven/fridge etc and cleans easily (just wipe it down).  highly recommend getting one if you do a lot of baking/pastry making etc!

I tried to go to that site Maddy cos I'm super keen for a tortilla press!  But I get a message saying its a suspected malware site - do you think its safe, or know anywhere else I can purchase one?  :)

These chips look amazing!

Just thought I'd add.. this was one of the first meals I made in bimby - but is a regular on our menu at least once a month.  We love it in our house!  I normally add whatever veggies I can find in the fridge (zucchini is normally a regular), green capsicum etc - and leave out the spring onions cos otherwise my fiance won't eat it.  I also use my own red curry paste (from EDC) which is always delicious and I can make it as spicy as I like.  Definitely a winner!!! Thanks again for the recipe maddy :)

Glad you liked it Jakodai! :)  My dairy free sour cream that I made from Quirky Jo's recipe was a little on the runny side, I think I added too much water - so perhaps that's why mine wasn't dry looking - am sure it will be just as nice with the real thing :) We aren't on dietary restrictions either - but I do love playing around with alternatives, it really just gives me an excuse to use thermie a bit more hehe!

Hope you like it cookie1 :)
