Great bread as usual Chookie.  I made a milk loaf yesterday for the first time (that I can remember anyway) and I didn't like it at all.  Was quite dry.  Will be turned into breadcrumbs today and frozen.  ;D

Makes a nice shape in the SC, Chookie.
Cookies Vienna loaf. Read all the comments about slashing so I can improve the presentation.

If you are looking for a lovely, moist cake that freezes and defrosts well, this one is really nice.

I reduced the sugar to 200g but will try 180g next time.
Only made half the frosting which is why mine is just a thin layer on top.  This was quite enough and I wouldn't change it.
Cuts into 16 squares.

The cake looks beautiful Julie. I love it when you post photos - always a wow factor.

That looks and sounds delicious JulieO.
I watched an Instagram video of Adriano Zumbo making chocolate cupcakes the other day. They look very nice, so I made some today. He did his as muffin size but I did cupcake size.

Just for interest.  I frequently make DD a Sour Dough Olive loaf.  I have been making a mix of Rye and bread flour.  I make the mixture to rise overnight and next morning add the olives and rosemary.  Form into a loaf and bake.
