My 15yr old step daughter was provided with a laptop this year, Yr 9. She has several text books downloaded onto it.
Just a public high school. I think every Yr 9 student is provided one Australia wide.

These days I only read on the train which is a 15 minute trip so takes me ages to read a book. Started All That I Am by Anna Funder over a week ago, haven't really got into it yet. I read anything & everything, usually mix up genres so I don't read the same type of book twice in a row. Rest assured I won't be reading 50 shades!

Count me out. Not even if someone gave it to me. I draw the line.

I have no idea what it is about but just saw it on ACA (I think) last night - certainly wouldn't have any added benefits for anyone in this house though  ;D

I'll put my hand up Judy.
Well I'm not actually reading the book yet, but I have all 3 Shades of Crap books at home.

My DH asked me a few days ago what were these Shades of Grey books everyone was talking about. He said the book man at his work was selling the trilogy. I replied half jokingly & half curiously "buy them for me, you're always telling me to read more books!". (I haven't read a book that isn't a cookbook in years)

Well yesterday he brought the books home for me!

I can loan them to you Judy if you like!!

I would have read one but DD who has the first one on her ereader said Mum it's crap. So I will actually believe her as I have heard women in the bookshop talking about it and our bookclub had a big discussion on it the other night. I've too much good stuff to read. ;)

So now that all of you don't want to read shades of grey...I'm hoping someone at work will lend me their copy.

Michele you will be able to give us an opinion. I heard someone on the radio the other day saying it is time we had some erotic reading again. Not pornographic.
