Lol Kimmy, hope DH got you a toaster as well :D
Love the fish though. I use to have a huge 6 foot tank with some monster size fish. It was beautiful to watch them all swimming around :)

Yay Amy, he is a pretty boy/girl. You have a Cinnamon cockatiel there. I have 2 of these, I love their color.

Thanks girls :D Mandi what are your cockatiels called?
Still haven't decided on a name :-))

He/she must not have eaten all day. I offered him/her that seed and he/she ate non stop for about twenty minutes. My arm was starting to ache holding him/her.
He/she has also been nibbling my fingers a lot. I'm not sure if he/she is trying to bite me? What do you think Mandi?

Very cute Amy! My friends have a cockatiel called Lego - they thought he was a boy until they found an egg in her cage!

Just call him a he until you know differently lol.

Cockatiels use their tongue to explore their environment. As long as he's not biting you hard then all is fine. A nibble is normal :)

And not all my cockatiels have names as I have 18 adults. But the ones that do are

Biscuits and choc chip ( who have Uni, Judy and CP as their babies)

Freckles and Charlie

Cookie (but he died last year :( )

And of cause Amy, Bird and Cfor

Plus Billy the Sun Conure :)
