Chookie I would love to know how to bottle fruit using the microwave.

Cookie I have taken photos of how to bottle fruit in  the Microwave.   I will also write instructions.  A couple of small problems,  1. it is not completely relevant to TMX,  although fruit can be cooked in TMX prior to bottling,  and used in TMX recipes after bottled.     2.  I am not very good with the computer and may have probs.   Therefore I will  try and put it on my blog and see how I go from there.  You can access my blog by tapping on the sphere under my avatar.

Cookie ,  I have done it,  not very professional but it is there.  Hope you enjoy it.  When we have been on hols. and good cheap fruit has been available I have bought some and then gone to the OP shop and bought jars and preserved in the Microwave at the Motel.  No stopping an enthusiastic cook. ;D ;D ;D

There certainly is no stopping you Chookie, bet the store keepers love seeing you and DH roll into their towns for your little breaks - especially anyone who sells food  :D  What a great idea.

I love the series on your blog Chookie about bottling fruit.Very easy to follow, especially with the photos.I usually but my big glass jars out for the recycling once a month but no more, they will be kept in future. ;)

Good on you CC,  my friends keep theirs for me.   I forgot to point out that there is no need for sugar.

I can see that I am going to have to put a "jars and bottles wanted" notice on the board at the local supermarket/post office - with all the new ideas I am getting from this forum and your blog (jams, corn relish, homemade wocestershire sauce, homemade mustard, vanilla extract,  bottling fruit etc etc), I am going to run out of jars really soon!

KJH, what a good idea,  never throw a good jar out.
