Hope the wildflowers are blooming well for you this year, Cookie.
I made some energy balls, sweet potato and red lentil stew, cauliflower and broccoli bake and some more chocolate chip cookies.

Marina sounds like it’s a gem . What kind of pain are we talking muscular. My glutes are hurting a lot at the moment so I’m going to put on a cream that I have in the cupboard. As soon as I read this it reminded me about it . Missing Chookie , is she still unable to get in to the forum ? Imagine all the people locked out if she cannot get in .
K Atie, pop onto their web site zea.com.au or go to the Facebook link in my post and you may find some answers and, possibly, relief from your pain - you have got nothing to lose except for a couple of minutes on the internet.

"Italian" salad (I am still trying to figure out the "Italian" part, but the salad was really good!), minestrone, mac and cheese, vege stew, peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies

Golden Crispy Potstickers with ginger and garlic vegetables in a sesame sauce glaze. Something I have never made before so this should be interesting. There is always McDonalds if it fails.
Sounds interesting ... how did it taste?

This is going to sound like an advert, but it really works. If you are in pain take a look at this https://www.facebook.com/share/v/196o7RTEMB/ or go to their web site zea.com.au I had been intending to let you all know about this for a few days but didn't get around to it so it was fortunate that I saw this on Facebook this morning and that nudged me into action. One of my neighbours has been singing the praise of this cream / ointment for quite some time so, out of desperation, I decided to give it a try last week and, much to my surprise (and relief), it really did work. I had been having to use a walking stick for the past month and also had to stop my physio exercises due to pain, but (and I am not exaggerating) I was able to leave my walking stick in the cupboard immediately. It didn't get rid of all my pain (only the knee replacement will do that as my knee is bone on bone) but the improvement was huge. Fortunately a small independent chemist down the road from us stocks this product, but I don't think it is widely distributed so if you wanted to try it you would probably have to buy it off the net. If you do try it, I hope you have a much pain relief as I got.

We had a most delightful wee boy in the shop today - only 3 years old "going on 7" with the most amazing language skills. He was a real sweetie who cannot wait until his birthday to get his first instrument.

Judy, if you're over our way and with nothing better to do and you want to while away some time it would be great if you fancied dropping in - I'd love to catch up.
Yesterday was my weekly visit to the physio - I feel as though I am starting to get 'somewhere' with my exercises at last.
On Monday and Tuesday next week we are getting our under floor heating system in our home in the country re-commissioned - I am so looking forward to having a warm house to be in over winter. It also means I will be up there for two days more than usual so lots of cooking and baking happening!!

What a disappointment, Judy - surely your travel agent checked that your passports were in order. It sounded like such a lovely trip as well.

Quote from K Atie "Amazing what you find at the back . It’s like the jars in the fridge you find are out of date . Don’t understand how it keeps happening. "
I find I have that problem too, K Atie!!
Judy, have a great cruise.

Good news, Mab. Keep well and take care of yourself.
Your poor hairdresser, Cookie, she must have been devastated. You read about these things, but I never think it actually happens in your own home; I always thought it was just a story line!
Enjoy your cruise Judy - where are you off to this time?

After watching Four Corners last night with its food substitutions and things that are found in food, we ended up having an open Gozleme.
Yes, that was a real wake up call. I didn't see all of it, but what I saw was very disturbing.

The reason I am deferring my knee operation to the end of the year is that I want to recuperate in the summer, not winter! I am petty good at handling pain so as long as I can last until then the wait should be (more or less) bearable - hence the cortisone injection to help to see me through until then.

Sounds like an eventful trip, K Atie. You would be glad to be back home.
Visited my surgeon again, Arranged for a cortisone injection in my knee to see me through (hopefully relatively pain free) until my knee replacement in the summer.
