Great spot it is BZB; we have stayed in the caravan park there and walked along the foreshore. Lovely and relaxing.

How great that you are having a great reunion with your friends MF.  :)

It's nice to be distracted once in a while Gayle especially if it leads to buying the perfect handbag ;) :D

I love the Moore River area BZB. I can see why you had fun.

Our 11 month old freezer died last night. DH and I had been going out shopping today, so he did the ringing and growling while I did the shopping. I took the initialled cheque to another bank to deposit and it was taken with no question!  I think the girl in the previous branch was being over zealous.
WARNING.    RANT COMING.

I went to the optometrist to see about getting some spare glasses made. They wouldn't as the script for my glasses is more than 2 years old. I explained I see an ophthalmologist because of glaucoma but they still insisted that they check my eyes. I was furious as this means they will bill Medicare and I have already claimed an eye check from Medicare a couple of months ago. Talk about over servicng. I rang the ophthalmologists office and chatted to them. They said the easiest thing is to probably go along with it!  Just just because my eyes haven't altered in 8 years.  :-\ :-\

Ok the rant is over. Thanks.

There is no end to your talents Den. Game sounds fun. Hope the engagement brunch is a lovely event.
Gorgeous spot BZB.
What a waste of your time cookie and very money hungry of them.
The children started back at school today. Insert big sigh. My first task after I dropped them off, was to sit down and have a quite cuppa as I watched the neighbours moving out of their house. Nearly choked when I saw them pull up there solar garden lights and pack them into the moving van. What cheeky monkeys.

Back to work. It's supposed to be quiet this week. But my work hasn't slowed.

Den that sounds like fun.
Pretty location Bzb. What did the boys think of kayaking?
My kids were mesmerised by the surf life saving kids drills on the weekend. Mr 5 just wanted to join them.
Annoying Cookie. I dropped my glasses the other day and a lense fell out. I still haven't had time to look for it under my car seat. Another job to add to the increasing list.

Is the freezer under warranty?

Bloody cheek to have to have another eye check. That is the way it is set up. Everyone getting their cut. Glasses are so expensive.

Oh Judy I really admire you for your loving care of Geoff.
I hope he is settled well enough for you to enjoy your trip away in October.
I have learned an enormous amount from you.
You are in a situation any one of us could be faced with and you manage it with such dignity.
You are a real hero.

Agree wholeheartedly.
You are a great example to us all.
Happy Easter to all

I couldnt put it any better, Judy.  It is good to see Geoff looking so well, where has that 12 months gone!
Xx

CC the first thing that got me about your photo was the green!
I am sadly lacking in green here. No rain, no green, everything is vary-ing shades of brown.  :( :(

Lovely photo CC.  :D

We are taking our friends to Mindarie marina for morning coffee then up to our DS's holiday home at Moore river for a barbecue lunch with all the kids. It's been a very busy week since they arrived but good to see them enjoying their first time in WA. They love it here.  ;D
Their next stop is Cloncurry in Queensland where their only daughter is working as a social worker.
