Title: Thermoplug??
Post by: alisonjones on May 07, 2018, 11:13:49 am
Has anyone bought a thermoplug? It keeps coming up on my facebook page and I'm considering convincing the hubby to buy me one for mother's day. Does anyone own one? Curious to know your thoughts?

Here's the FB post: https://www.facebook.com/thethermoplug/videos/vb.683051935417234/736431246745969/?type=3&theater

Not here Alison. I’ve managed this far I think I should be ok. One thing in its favour, your spatulas wouldn’t get bits bitten out of them by the blades.

I had never of heard of this before.  It certainly looks like it could be a good idea, but I am not sure I would be looking at getting one.  It seems that they are only really useful if you are making something that is fairly solid and cold to warm in temperature.

Thanks everyone, thinking it will be good for the kids, as I worry about them with the blades sometime.  I will get hubby to buy one, it's worth trying!

I think it would be good for the kids Alison as it is easy to cut yourself on the blades.

Hey guys

Haven't been on the forums much! Started a new job and I have been totally snowed under

Anyway, just logged in and saw I got a message about this so thought I would let you all know how it went in case anyone else was wondering

So yes I did end up getting one! Long story short - it's definitely a good accessory to have if your Thermomix obsessed. It has been really good for cooking with the kids. I don't use it for every dish but its a handy tool to have especially when baking. All in all I feel its worth it, fits in to the thermomix well, good for when you want to use a spatula and it goes in the dishwasher too :)
