Love the look of the pies and sausage rolls Kenton, which pastry did you use? The cake also looks great. Love the dog sitting outside the door looking in, I'm sure he would have smelt those pies and sausage rolls.

DJ, as usual your bread looks amazing. Which recipe did you use?

Thanks wonder
Uni's quick rolls In Under an hour but using 22 g fresh yeast, and vit c instead of improver.
Takes longer than the recipe says. It is perfect every time. Currently testing flour varieties before buying a sack.
Rise until double in jug and prove in tin until finger test says bake...

That bread looks gorgeous as does the arancini.

The top pastry was shop bought puff but I used Tenina's recipe for the short crust bases - much easier then I thought.

DJ that bread looks lovely. When you say you used vitamin c instead of bread improver is that ascorbic acid or different? I'd like to try some bread without improver if I can. I'm hoping I get my new blades tomorrow.

Your B & B guests are going to enjoy their home made bread DJ, it always looks great.
Nice balls CC - I keep forgetting to use leftover risotto in that way.

Lovely cooking everyone.

Today I have made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and some caramalised onion, mushroom & feta tarts.

Kyton, DJ, CC & INAID - what can I say, your food looks amazing! Today I've made CADA, berry muffins, yummy brown rice salad, Tenina's feta tart and macaroni & cheese. With temperatures forecast to reach 40 over the next few days, I'm preparing for a no-cook week.

Absolutely delicious looking food everyone. I love your variety of breads DJ.
Maybe some cooking here tomorrow as it is too hot at the moment. I made some bread yesterday as things were desperate. I also made a great boiled fruit cake a few days ago. It has peanut butter, choc flavoured port, fruit, nuts and chocolate in it. I will post the recipe when I have a moment. The taste is magnificent.
