Seeing as it is now broad bean season and I am looking for broad bean recipes I thought I would bump this in case any one else is on the hunt for same.

Thanks for bumping Marina. No need to peel bb if they are fresh and young. Can use in place of French beans when the size of index finger.

Checked out the bb yesterday. They are the size of my little finger.  There are going to be lots.

Yes, BBs are prolific, aren't they - thank goodness! The last time I grew them I only had 2 - 3 plants and they kept the two of us well fed for well over a month.
