I am very keen on this challenge! I have so many recipes on my 'to do' list, I need more hours in the day to cook them all.

I've decided that I'm going to try the honey mustard chicken tonight. I can't wait! Honey mustard sauce is my favourite flavour combination ever!!!

Plus I've got some bread rolls baking away now (as we've had no bread in the house for the last couple of days...that's pretty unusual for us!

Yep, I was thinking that Amy. I think I'll make it again with the noodles, but maybe reduce the soy sauce and honey slightly and replace with stock maybe?

I don't know why my chicken shredded, next time I use chicken breast in the tMX I will cut the pieces larger. (like I said, I'm not used to using the breast, I usually use thigh)

It is really versatile! I think the marinade suggestion is a great one too!

Hi! I made this for tea tonight as anything "honey soy" goes down well! However, I didn't have any thigh fillets, but had some breast fillets that were approaching their use by date. I think that was a big mistake. The chicken ended up shredded, even though I had it on reverse  :( Everyone else's photo's look so nice and appetizing!

If I make it again, I will definitely use thighs. (I normally use thigh fillets for most things these days as I find they often have more flavour...I just happened to buy breast fillets for a change this week)

The sauce was good, but I think I would reduce the soy sauce and maybe the honey a little bit next time. It was a little bit strong and sweet for my kids (which is strange because my daughter always asks to lick the spoon after using golden syrup!)

I absolutely love the suggestion of serving with hoikkin noodles. The photo looks amazing! Enough to make me want to try it again!

Thanks for posting the recipe!

Welcome to the forum Blackwood

Tip. next time you make tahini try and make the hommus without washing the bowl after the tahini saves on washing up and waste.

oh that would have been too clever for me to think of! Thanks fundj...I'll remember that for next time!  :)

Jams and Chutneys / Re: Tenina's Lemon Curd - via Judydawn

Thanks for letting me know everyone! I can't wait to make it! I'm sure we will finish it up well and truly before three weeks!

Good to know that you can freeze it. I will definitely be trying that!

I'd love to try it with limes as well. That sounds delish! I wonder if mandarins would work? (I have so many at the moment!) Any ideas anyone?

Hi, I can't wait to make this! I've just been given a bag full of lemons by a friend. Does anyone know how long this would last for being stored in the fridge?

Thanks so much for your help!
