Hi! I made this for tea tonight as anything "honey soy" goes down well! However, I didn't have any thigh fillets, but had some breast fillets that were approaching their use by date. I think that was a big mistake. The chicken ended up shredded, even though I had it on reverse
Everyone else's photo's look so nice and appetizing!
If I make it again, I will definitely use thighs. (I normally use thigh fillets for most things these days as I find they often have more flavour...I just happened to buy breast fillets for a change this week)
The sauce was good, but I think I would reduce the soy sauce and maybe the honey a little bit next time. It was a little bit strong and sweet for my kids (which is strange because my daughter always asks to lick the spoon after using golden syrup!)
I absolutely love the suggestion of serving with hoikkin noodles. The photo looks amazing! Enough to make me want to try it again!
