Should you report the dog to the RSPCA or council ranger?

I should Marina, but I would prefer to pop over to the back of us and speak to the people concerned. I don't know them, but feel it is better for neighbourhood harmony.

Yes Cookie, do that.  They may not know it is barking.
I have been on the phone all day with Apple. What nice young people they are. 1/2 fixed.  Now for Telstra.

You are right, of course, Cookie.  I thought it had been abandoned when, in fact, the poor thing may probably just be lonely or bored.

I was standing inline at a supermarket checkout today and someone tapped me on my shoulder I turned around to find a friend standing there smiling. Remarkable really as we both don't normally shop there. She said she recognized me from the back because of my haircut LOL. We both had a good chat to catch up on each others news. Unfortunately she was in a rush as we would have gone for a coffee together.

CC, that was nice.
We are slowly building a network at Invermay.  It seems to take time.

What a pleasant surprise Denise, I hope the line was a long one so that you could have a decent chat.

That was a lovely surprise CC.   Once when we were on holidays in Albany WA at the whale museum  I was talking with another lady I knew from home when another lady came running over and said I would recognise that laugh anywhere.  It turned out she had been in one of my sewing classes at one time.  Maybe I should tone my laugh down,  What a small world we live in.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I love it when that happens Denise.
Many years ago I was at a concert with a friend who has a unique laugh. At intermission another teacher came to find her, she had heard the laugh and knew she was there somewhere. It's special to be recognised like that Margaret.

Good luck with Telstra Chookie!.

I had one of those strange meetings as well.  Many years ago I was walking to work in Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis off the north west coast of Scotland and spotted a backpacker with NZ flags on her pack, so I caught up with her and chatted to her until I got to work.  Then, several years later, my DH was playing a gig with a friend, Cameron, in Wellington, NZ and he introduced me to his sister ... none other than the girl I had walked to work with all those years before.

What beautiful chance meetings you all have had , makes life seem there is a purpose for those times .
Busy day in Ballarat getting car serviced and DD phone repaired. So good that it could be fixed . Shops had moved and changed names , think I spent a lot of time going in circles . Handbag purchase, few books . Enjoyed lunch at The Local Cafe . Wilson's for a fruit and veg shop .

K Atie, Wilson’s is great for fruit and veg.  Next time you are in Ballarat , we could meet for coffee if you have time.
Love the stories of chance encounters .
Big saga with Telstra . New MacBook Pro wouldn’t accept or send eMail. Spent 2 exhausting hours on the phone with them trying to fix problem. They tried very hard and were very patient but to no avail.  So last night I rang DS who is an engineer with Telstra. First he got a change of password, then he worked me through setting it up. When I last looked at it before going to bed, it had uploaded 30 thousand eMails. Now I have to get rid of them.

So good having a DS who could help you Chookie, you might have to spend the rest of the week reading all those emails before deleting them.
