Burritos are like a wrap Amy. I made the bake quite spicy so not sure if it would be too hot for DS as he is only 2. He loves burritos and the meat is only mildly spiced. The GD's can choose the bake or burritos. I made a huge bake so will have plenty.
Hope you had a good day  ;D I did  ;D

Sending you a big hug DJ. Hoping your DH has a problem free recovery. All the best.

You never stop being a mum do you cookie.  Hope answers come quickly.

I think the little people in my house are having an early end of term meltdown. It all just seems a bit too much for them atm. Lots of tears, lack of appetite, tiredness, aches and pains, and now Ds5 has school sores on one knee. He also came down with a scary fever last night with 3 hours of bed sweats before fever disappeared. Poor thing just wants lots of cuddles. If only hugs and cuddles fixed everything ;)

Your poor little people Kimmy :( When I was a little person, Tinkerbell band-aids fixed everything ;)

I'm glad you had a good day MF, I did for the most part too ;D Enjoy your dinner and I hope the little man doesn't get steam coming out his ears :D

My DH still swears by mercurochrome

And you had to put heaps on to make the scrape look more fearsome than it really was.

My Late Pa used to talk about gentian violet and I think I even remember having it when very small...
Everything was VERY purple.

Yes that was good for ulcers in the mouth. Probably fell out of favour due to the bright purple stain tho

Hugs to everyone who needs one right now.  :)

My Pop used metho for everything, that did make you jump around a bit when he put it on any sores/scrapes!
"purple paint" (gentian violet) was my Dad's thing - if Pop didn't get to us first with the metho, then Dad got us with purple paint! Either way it was going to sting!

Cookie1 - I asked about olives where I buy my grapes from in the Valley and she said that they take theirs to the York Olive Oil Co. There are 'olive oil' olives and 'eating olives'. Oil olives produce about 7% oil when squished and eating olives produce about 3%. I think she said it is about $300/tonne to be squished, so with my eating olives it would work out to be very very expensive oil, so I am not going to worry about getting any done. It was interesting to talk to her about it as I had no idea the end product was so minimal.

That's interesting Nikkit, thanks.

Thank you all for your kind wishes for DD. she can't get into the specialist for ages of course. We will have to see what happens. It is only a 9-10 hour trip home from Monkey Mia so I hope it is fixed before we go to Birdsville. She said she only feels like a horse kicked her now.  :) :)

That still sounds pretty bad Cookie.  If she gets worse and presents to an emergency department does she get to see a specialist then?
