Five day lockdown, picked DS up after I managed to do the shopping ( first time in ages I was using up all the food , nothing in the fridge ) . DS had his first day at Rist agriculture . None of us knew what was going on , but I decided to take him home . Independent learning Monday ,Tuesday Wednesday online learning . Well hope it’s only five days , I’m over it but trying to keep it together . DD another day in the shed ... we are meant to be shearing on Monday and the boys are meant to harvest and cart grain on the weekend!! Let’s see how this works with Five k rule .

Yes, being older can certainly have some advantages, Cookie and Judy.

Lockdown again, at least (I hope) only for 5 days.  I seem to recall ScoMo saying Australia was first in line for the vacine .. could he have made a mistake?  ;) As soon as I heard that an infectious person had been at the airport for 8 hours or something like that, I knew lockdown was inevitable, I hate to think how far and wide the virus spread during that time ... and did the person know that they were infectious during that time ... I am not heavily into lockdowns, but it is way better than the alternative.

.... back to my jigsaw puzzle now  :)

Like , Marina, I hope the lockdown is only for 5 days.  But a person working at Brunetti at the airport doesn’t sound good.
Age can be an advantage.  I nice young man at the Supermarket offered to push my shopping trolley out to the car.  I didn’t think I look so feeble. I grateful accepted and I hope he felt good also.

Ha ha Chookie, something similar happened to me today.  I had to go to the Port Club to pick up a book they’ve put out for their 150th anniversary for my Melbourne SIL.  Couldn’t get a park very close to the club as all car parks and road spaces were taken which I found out later was because the boys had an internal trial match happening.  I paid for the book, the lass asked me where I was parked then suggested I pull into the delivery bay and she would bring the boxed book out for me as it was quite heavy.  Very thoughtful of her, it was heavy and I don’t know how I would have gone getting to the car with it but I did wonder if I looked too thin in her eyes to be able to carry it.

Accept all offers ladies. I find that many people are being extremely nice, but some a being even stupider. DD pointed out that if people help someone they feel good about it. I smile and say 'gee, thanks!'

DD is right cookie, it’s always good to do something for someone.  I was walking down a main suburban street this afternoon and a lady in a wheelchair with 2 little dogs stopped at a post box.  There were a few people around me and in front but she waited until I got to her then asked if I could put her letter in the box.  It felt great that she chose me.

How lovely Judy. You obviously look friendly and approachable. I always off to help people with wheelchairs as I know how hard it can be to manipulate them and shop. You would too Judy. It doesn’t hurt us to offer to help, fortunately I’ve never been yelled at...yet.

Yes, it is nice to help someone.  It works both ways as Cookie DD says.  But it is certainly better than not doing anything.

LOL yes it is Marina, I virtually had a whole weekend like that - I obviously needed it after all my appointments during the week.  All I did was look at recipes, print some out and make a couple of desserts.

I did nothing over my weekend too. I caught up on a bit of sleep. This morning I went to the podiatrist and then called at my Italian shop. I spend heaps there but the stone fruit is lovely.
