Excellent Cookie.  There's nothing better than using what you've grown yourself, such a thrill.  :D

Gert I haven't tasted it yet. In the morning probably.

I just sent off an online job application. I'm very nervous. I don't know why. Maybe its because I've never applied for a job online ???

I'll just wait and see... :-))

Good luck Amy.

Cleaned, tidied, cooked, washed, ridden pony, shopped, cooked and baked. And washed up, etc etc.
All in all a normal day for DJ!

But best of all had two lovely chats with old friends on the phone.

Getting ready to Bogor a bike ride. Procrastinating because it is so cold and I didn't bring my cycling jacket and shoe covers to Perth. I planned on going for a swim but my flat mate in the hotel is still asleep and has the only key with a gate pass for the car.

Day spent Lazing by the pool enjoying the sunshine and heat.. Got a bit burnt but dont care... Sunshine 😁😁😁😁😁

Tonight went o see a film with my gf..

My turn to cook tomorrow..Usually i bring thermie but didnt this time but they know i can cook so as thy are out all morning they asked e to cook and was also asked by my gf dh if i could cook all dinners lol.. My dear gf isnt the best cook despite her best efforts e erything seems to taste very bland..positive side is im sure we are losing some weight as we arent eating much 😄😄... Love her dearly though!

Probably just make something simple like a filling salad, perhaps grill some meat and do an apple dessert.. One of chookies ones i think..

Today we are sending my brother back off to university. Since he turned up looking like a skeleton this time, mum and I have been putting together a food "parcel" for him to take back with him so he will at least eat something!
The "parcel" (its actually a crate and four bags :o) contains:
10 cans of soup, 4 cans of creamed rice, 7 tubs of reheatable soup, 4 tubs of flavoured instant rice, 3 packets of butter popcorn, 5 instant pasta meals, 4 pack of baked beans, 4 pack of spaghetti, 12 Up and Go breakfast drinks, 1 loaf of bread, 8 fruit and custard cups, 8 fruit and jelly cups, 2 boxes of breakfast biscuits, 8 packets of crackers, 5 bags of chips, 2 bags of mixed nuts, 1 tin of sustagen energy drink, 3 jars of peanut butter, 6 sesame snap snacks, 11 chocolate bars, 13 mini chocolate bars, 80 muesli bars, 94 instant porridge packets and 12 litres of long life milk.
We also chucked in 1 large bottle of multi-vitamins since he won't feed himself any vegetables, 2 packets of face wipes, 4 bars of soap, 1 large tube of toothpaste, 2 bottles of shampoo, 1 box of washing powder and an 8 pack of toilet rolls.

The hygiene stuff will probably last him a year.... the food will probably last him a week :-))

I think its something to do with having poor male role models. My father is a lazy, ungrateful bum :-\

I know! I'm very proud of it :D He has put on a little bit of weight, but he seems not to have as much of an appetite anymore. I guess his stomach has shrunk since he hasn't been eating properly :(
