Jo, I have just advised  my niece in law about your blog as her son has a severe allergy to milk and eggs. She thought she was doing all she could. All I've heard so far is 'why didn't someone tell me about this sooner?'
You are proof that problems can be catered for. Congratulations for being 2 years old Quirky Cooking.

Your blog has inspired me to give blogging a bit of a go!  Cant say it will be as informative as yours but I actually find it a little therapeutic!  It is however, something you need to remain dedicated to and I applaud you for continuing with it for two years, it shows your passion.  :)

No Jo she doesn't have a TMX but is amazed at the things I told her she could do to help her son. eg grinding her own flour. So I think she will be an owner soon.

Ha ha - you just have to know where to look... and if all else fails, order off the internet!!
I just get dried onions from the spice section at the grocery store, in the little packets that are hanging up with dried herbs and spices in them.  :)

My parcel arrived today from Jo with a generous samples of Miessence.The perfume is divine.I will have a great time using everything.

Yay! Glad you liked it!! I was a bit worried, because a friend tried on the chocolate perfume and said she didn't like it that much - I love it! She like the "Wild" one better. They're all nice, but chocolate's my favourite :)

Hi Jo,  I love your blog.  Its great to see someone else thinks the same way as me but trying to tell the kids that is a different story.  They are getting used to me now, but it has taken approx 3-4 yrs since I read Cyndi O'Meara's Changing Habits Changing Lives.  Hubby is slowly getting better.  But I have learnt to take baby steps with my mum and mother in law.  eg no soft drink for the kids at all instead of telling them that my kids can't eat this and that which just didn't work.   

Keep up the great work.  I love reading your blog.

Thanks TC & HB! Glad you've found it helpful :) I know what you mean about trying to educate family & friends, HB, it's hard. My mum's a lot better than she used to be, but I do find I need to take food most places I go so my kids will have something to eat!!
