Thanks Judy for the tip re potato chips.  DH suggested salting them before cooking so will definitely try that next time and I won't peel them either.  Will certainly make it quicker.  :)

Johnro that is unreal  :o

Turn it off and keep it for an emergency Kim.  I hope you have plenty of things to amuse the children inside today.

Those supermarket shelves are unbelievable.  Hope the weather abates soon, and everyone stays safe.
I went shopping yesterday and finally found some lime green thongs and some beautiful ribbons half price. My friend also found me a black top that she tried on that unfortunately didn't fit her, but did fit me & as a bonus, it was reduced to $10:)

Speaking of thongs, and our havaianas discussion.....look what I had seen onEtsy.com

Wedding thongs! LOL...all blinged out with crystals for your wedding day at the beach  :P
A thong is not  just a thong these days.

Was at a friends BBQ last night, and she gave me some hand cream to try....the fragrance was just heavenly! (Persian fairy floss)
So I ordered some online, along with a candle in the same fragrance

I know that we have experienced panic buying previously, generally though it is over a period of a couple of days as Rockhampton floods are usually a long time coming from the catchment areas of the Fitzroy.
For those who may be wondering how a street in the foothills of the ranges can end up in the state of Shields Ave - this is the  tube video of it happening and the next clip gives you an idea of why roads were cut, the water is going under Stocklands - all shopping centres were closed.  Anyrate drama ended - only intermittent rain now. So Kim there is an end in sight for the Sunny Coast .  Poor communities in Wide Bay/ Burnett areas - the tornadoes were really intense!!

Just .listening to the forecast for the Burnett and Wide Bay areas it sounds very bleak. My thoughts are with anyone suffering wind and too much rain. I love QLD from its tip, down the coast and inland. Can't speak about Winton and Longreach as I haven't been there yet.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
