At the shops now

Just popped into myer & saw Kezza (nice)  bought a couple  of le creseut dishes, went to house bought a baccarat wok & spatula, now in  boring atheletes foot looking for shoes for cp.

Cos feet are huge, just tuned 9 last month

6 1/2 width E!!!! His trainers cost me $169!!!

Just as well I am back at work today - the last few days have I have been shopping up a storm.

Over the weekend and yesterday have purchased 2 pairs of colarados for DH. A pair of shoes for me. Myers had Cassa Domani pasta sets in lattice for $11.95 bought 3 sets to put away (we are always contributing to gift baskets at work for girls getting married etc). The Best of Bill cookbook $16.99 at the Post office. A small sewing machine for card making. Several different individual flan tins, T.V. from Aldi, an electric jug, school supplies for DSD and a microwave oven for DS as he is moving house.  WHEW!!!!

Great shopping everyone.  I stumbled across touch lamps today and they are all I need to finish off DH's bedroom.  Only problem was that the shopkeeper only had 1 in stock and there's no way I would be going all the way back to Marion to pick up the second one.  The nice man is going to deliver both of them to my door when they come in later this week - well I hope he does, he has 1/3 of the money as deposit so not a great loss if he doesn't.  Picked up a little blouse for myself during my wanderings as well.

What a bargain that is Gert. I'm glad I have an electric pasta maker already. Every thing I buy now cuts into my Hawaii money.

I didn't realise you had bought them, thought you were only telling us you had seen them in the Reject Shop Jamberie.

They are a little bit smaller than regular tea towels but as they dry so quickly I guess they don't need to be too big. The pink ones are face-washer/flannel sized but have a very light mesh on one side to help with tougher marks.


But I still like the polka dots more!

I bought a 1kg bag of microfibre cloths from Bunnings.  I think it cost me about $15.oo.  I chose a pack that looked like good cloths.  All are hemmed etc and have the brand Alsco on them (so I figure they are made for the rental market and have to cope with the huge laundries Alsco have   ).  I think they are made up as teatowels.  A really close look showed very minor 'faults'.  But they work as well as the high priced ones.  A previous pack I bought had lots of different sizes and many patterned or floral ones.  They are nice in the kitchen or bathroom.
I figure I can cope with the minor faults for around 50c each.

Overview has lots of microfiber cloths of various sizes. I find the 30X60 perfectly satisfactory for drying dishes and especially the plastics and they are only $2.50 and last forever.
