Thanks Denise, what are you going to make first?  I gave my Aussie Indian cookbook to my daughter so I can't compare that and your UK book index.

The Kofta curry and Chicken Akhni look good.I think the Tikka Paste is the same recipe that's in the old Indian book.I check and will let you know if any recipes are the same.

It has lovely pictures CC. I love how it indicates how hot the food it. I remember being at a food show and saying I could eat hot foods. This lovely Indian lady gave me a sample of so ething she said was mild. It nearly blew my head off, I'm glad she didn't give me hot.
DH did dinner tonight, fish, chips and salad. He did the chips in the AF and put heaps of chilli powder on them! I ended up giving him most of my share. Yet he won't eat Indian food!!!

I've compared the recipes from a Taste of India against Fast and Easy Indian recipes. Some are the same but are a fair few are new.
The Tikka Paste is the same but in the new book it specifies what type of chillies to use in the recipe.

I do like the new style books compared to the old spiral books.
That's one way for DH to get more chippies on his plate cookie LOL.
