Giant cupcake
« on: April 25, 2012, 06:25:05 am »
Hi everyone

I have one of the Wilton giant cupcake tins and in my pre thermomix days I used the Wilton choc pound cake recipe to make the cake to fill the tin. Has anyone converted this recipe for thermomix??? Or has anyone used a different recipe with success??? All suggestion would be welcome......I am looking to use it to make my daughter'ms birthday cake on Friday.

Thanks  :)

My sister made a cake with one of those moulds for her sons first birthday. I think she used a rainbow cake recipe (is there one in the EDC ?) I vaguely remember that's where she got the recipe from. Sorry I'm not much help :)

Thanks guys.....it sounds like I could probably use one of the thermomix cake mixes and fingers crossed it will work. I may try the marble cake :-)

I love the colours.

Janey-123- Not sure if you have already done your Giant cupcake yet? Thought I would let you know that I just baked this butter cake recipe with sucess in my Wilton airplane tin. I used a double batch as it is large.

I prepared the pan with this cake release- http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7350.0
Both recipes were very simple and the cake (excess trimmed off) tastes really good.
