Love your holiday photos Cookie.

I've spent some time on the internet this morning with the help of my DIL on Centrelink.  Enough said :-)) :-)) I hope I have it all sorted now.

Lovely photos Cookie.
Hope you're all sorted Mab, dealing with government departments is trying.

I went to my first CWA meeting yesterday. The ladies were very welcoming and hilarious. Funny thing is the group I've joined only have a few women that like to cook  :o. They were discussing a menu for an upcoming event and and they are buying most of the food.
Apparently they are over handicrafts too.
Anyway from the sounds of things they support and help out a lot of good causes and I look forward to being a part of that.

I hope you enjoy your CWA group Michele, we have them around here too but I don't have time to join anything else.  One of our Probus ladies goes to one and they have speakers, outings and generally it's more of a social thing these days rather than craft & cooking.

I wonder if the CWA focus would be different in a more rural area?

Dentist this morning.
Having a large load of mushroom compost delivered. Added to chook litter, makes excellent compost for garden.
Mab, hope you get things sorted.
Michele, that sounds interesting.  You will have a lot to offer to the group. Have fun.

Maybe Cuilidh, we are regional. Just hoping to locate the first aid kit. Most of the members are elderly and there is no regard for electrical cords - they are every where - Nancy took a tumble on Monday ( not due to the cords), thank goodness, no harm done. They are a lovely lot of women and I look forward to being a part of the group.

Mich I'm sure you will enjoy the CWA group.

Katj I had my mammogram a bit before we left and DD said I had the all clear letter. I hope yours is the same.

Chookie you have certainly been busy.

I met up with Gayle and her DH yesterday. It was wonderful. It was very exciting meeting her up here. We hope to get together next week in the city. If any other Perthites are interested let me know please. I have contacted Jeninwa.

A little more gardening and reading through a new cook book. Very interesting. This book consists of a series of basic recipes and simple instructions of adapting them with a variety of ingredients. Tonight will try the pancake recipe on Ral.

We headed towards home today. We are camped about 200km out of Perth tonight and it's quite cool. As we came out of Geraldton Gayle and her DH in their motorhome pulled out just in front of us. I loved phoning her and when she asked "where are you?" I was able to say right behind you.
Home and my thermomix tomorrow.
