Made pies with my leftover beef & spinach casserole - DH only wanted one then asked later if there were anymore, good thing it makes 4.  ;) Did half a batch of EDC's shortcrust pastry for the 4 bases.

I've made all those ingredients in the TMX individually so yes please fundj, I'd like to see if it could be made in the TMX.

In a large fry pan

gently fried a touch of garlic with a touch of oil (start together from cold) maybe 2mins
Then i added the (mental block) not the flower bit 2min ( 1 bunch)
Then add the nap sauce 2min (2 ladles full)
Add the broccolini 2min
Add Caramelized onions 2min (1 large)
Add hot cooked pasta to the pan (i have mine ˝ cooked from the fridge i pour hot water over it in a bowl leave for no more than 2min)
Then add Béchamel (enough to make an orange looking sauce (i freeze mine béchamel in small zip lock bags)
Mix just to heat the bechamel

Thats the best i could do JD  ;D
Great over grilled chicken
Mine caramelized onions where well done and dry

good luck

I made  the Chicken Tagine with Couscous page 115 from In the Mix,
didn't add the Harissa ( didnt have enough spices and 25g of birds eye chilli is going to make one every hot paste)
or preserved lemon (didn't have any), it was delish. Lots of different flavours. DH thinks it will taste even better tomorrow night.

I was thinking of freezing it for when I go back to work, next week, trying to get some meals in the freezer for those night I can't be bothered cooking.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Fundj with this comment -

'Then i added the (mental block) not the flower bit 2min ( 1 bunch)'

Do you mean the stems of the broccolini?

Yesterday was a very confusing day for me, no reason just one of those things i guess

Having said that i do sometimes have trouble with food items and kitchen utensils, with what they are called in English.

I know what you mean fundj, on odd occasions when I am talking I have trouble spitting a particular word out cos I can't think of the exact word. I try and grasp it whatever it is, and know it might start with a certain letter but my brain just struggles. It worries me a bit cos I think is it just menapause or the beginning of something else  ???

Beef stew & buttermilk dumplings again (groan) with extra veg (both in the varoma & in the stew) plus mini carrot cakes with cream cheese icing in my new mini bundt pan if I have time  :)
