Title: Astarra's Milo Yoghurt.
Post by: Cornish Cream on June 05, 2014, 08:37:15 pm
I didn't want this recipe by Astarra to be lost so have put it here ;D

Milo yoghurt:
75gm icing sugar
30gm cornflour
50gm milo -

--- mix together 4sec/sp3 then add:

2 eggs
500ml milk (I use soy or Almond when I am making it for miss4, but dairy milk works too)

cook 7:30min/sp4/90deg, then scrape into jug/bowl/whatever & cover surface with gladwrap (or whatever) and let cool. When cold decant into serving sized containers and freeze if wanted.

Kimmyh - DS7 and I made it last weekend and both boys loved it.

Bootobethin - I have made this. Yum! It is a great recipe astarra. Thank you. We thought it was more a custard than a yogurt.
It is a favourite.

yes,you are correct BTBT,  it is not technically a yoghurt (no biotics etc) but if I called it milo custard my kids probably would not have tried it!!!  8)

BTW, this can nbe doubled, just cook for 13min.  :)

Bumping this recipe.  My boys love it - I would describe it as very similar to chocolate yogo that you buy in the supermarket - just without all the preservatives and junk
