Chit Chat / Thanks goodness for the TMX« on: March 13, 2011, 10:28:00 pm »
After having all weekend to tell me, my DS tells me at 8pm last night that he needs a cake for the stall at school tomorrow! Now before I owned a TMX I would have lost the plot and not been happy, but in a calm voice I simply say " put the oven on and i'll make a batch of Rock Cakes"! He thought we would have had to stop at the shops this morning to buy something but that was in the old days. Now DS isn't overly appreciative, but when they were cooked he cuddled up to me and said "thanks Mum", it doesn't get much better than that!!! Jenny

Wow, that gives me hope that my DH will one day use it, he doesn't even wash it up.
We have a saying in our house, that my DH doesn't cook, he only heats up!! Jenny 24

Well don't Nic and good luck Joynatalie! I put on 300g last Wednesday but it didn't surprise me, i know when i've not been good
But this is a brand new week and i'm keen as mustard to keep on going! I was at my Base 2 training and my GL made us Red lentil and Sweetpotato Soup for tea, can't see much wrong with that for a ww meal and it was delicious!!! Jenny 25

I have a small kitchen and don't own all the appliances that it replaces. I guess I am so excited by the TMX and must talk to everyone about it, I thought perhaps I could sell them too. 27

My FIL wets the jar then wraps it in cling wrap for a while. I haven't tried it yet but he says it works!

I had a cooking day yesterday and made Banana Cake, Luigis 40 second biscuits but used macademias, Apple and Cinnamon Muffins, Breadrolls, and Bolognaise and Pasta for tea. Today i have made Rara's Pancakes for brekky and they were such a hit! Jenny

They were such at hit, thankyou. Made alot, might halve the recipe next time, but now i have to buy maple syrup for next time we have them. Love Jenny

Good on you girls, i lost 600g this week so that makes 1.3kg on 2 weeks.
I am hungry anytime so that's why i am in this predicament! Pretty cool though, still using my tmx and cooking what i want and losing weight all at the same time. I guess i am eating in moderation now! Catch up later, i am off to cook! |
