Working from home today - just this once I wish I was in the office with the air conditioning! Just read the school newsletter, they made $80,000 profit from the fair on Saturday, excellent!

School fairs are big business around here, all the schools do them this time of year and they all get about the same profit depending on the weather. We have about 500 kids at our school, prep to year 6, but size wise it's not that big since we're in the inner suburbs - not much land, they have to use the local park across the road for P.E.
Over the years the fair has paid for landscaping, fencing, bike shed, sports shed, new library, interactive whiteboards etc. and now the principal wants a new science building so it will be going towards that. God knows where they'll put it, the kids are squashed in like bugs now!

Holy mackarel, I missed reading that in your last post deedub :o $80,000 is huge! I remember we were lucky to make even $2000 at most of our school fundraiser events :-\

Today we've been hiding inside from the rain and hail. It was so loud earlier we couldn't hear each other talking. I think it must be the storm coming down from Perth :)

I've also been to the post office ;)
