Fingers crossed Judy. I used to get quite nervous when I had my checks Judy. After a few years I stopped worrying.

Thanks cookie, glad to hear it’s a normal feeling then as I’m not usually a worrier.

I think it’s apprehension for what you can’t see.

We are all thinking positive for you Judy .
Had my Covid booster shot on Friday after catching up with quilting girls , my DF decided it was a great opportunity for me to have it then and there !! Well I had a sore arm that night , the next day got up had a shower and done in totally went to bed asleep all day no food or drink dizzy as sore arm aches no energy . Late the day DD gave me water and a few cruskits , then made pasta and Bolognese I had a bit . Today I’m a lot better better but still very dizzy . Thankfully kids did the driving to return DS back to boarding school . Yes lots of food today , I’m desperately trying to eat a lot to put on weight ... cannot believe I’m saying that . So eat well and healthy is my motto to if I can . Trying to eat salads too with all this hot weather , adding sweet potato or potatoes, infact my DS DD think I’m crazy as vegetables are on the plate as well ! Glad for the few days of colder weather but it’s warming up again .

DD sent me a text yesterday to say that she has tested positive to Covid even though she is fully vaccinated.  She doesn't know where she picked it up but does work in a aged care home where they have to do RAT tests every day.  She says she just feels like she has a bad cold but is ok otherwise.  The rest of the family are all clear so far.

Thanks K Atie.  I know a few people who’ve had a reaction to the vaccine like you did, keeping your fluid intake up and taking Panadol or something similar is very important. Hopefully you’re over the worst now.
Sorry to hear about your DD Margaret, health and aged care workers are so vulnerable,

SIL has now tested positive and GS woke up feeling unwell so it looks like they will all get it.

Just catching up. Judy, very natural feelings. K Atie, not nice reaction. Mab, nasty bug. Hope family are ok.
Still cleaning out. Did big pantry yesterday. Friend came and took discarded stuff.
Ral may come home today. Responded well to treatment.

Good news about Ral Chookie.

I saw my specialist this morning, CT scan was all clear but blood tests over a few months checking my thyroid function now show it’s time to start on medication. He said I would have much more energy, I thought I had plenty now so goodness me, maybe I’ll be jumping out of my skin in the future!  Nothing surprising, 3 people in my street have had radiation and they’re all on medication so I was expecting it.

I’d parked at the shopping centre to catch the train to the city so I did a pantry replenish shop when I came back, first time in a supermarket in over 4 weeks so I thought $104 was pretty good. I had no trouble finding every single item on my list and it was a big shop for me, must say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good news, Chookie, Ral will be happy to be home.

Judy, hope the medication doesn't leave you too hyper, but good news that the CT scan was clear.

Glad Ral is getting better and coming home . Great shopping Judy  .
DD working in the shearing shed as we are crutching, four crutches keeping her very busy . One exhausted DD and DH . Had a close call with close contact and Covid !! Thus quick trip for PCR test and isolated , being over Cautious but ...Negative thankfully . Stayed in my room nearly died of heat , DD delivered food and I managed to sort my bedside table of paperwork magazines books and a lot of rubbish . I’m over booster ,nasal swabs and confined to my room . This morning I spent hours tidying up a messy house washing .

Judy if I hear of a lady doing laps of the oval at night I will guess that it is you. I think they actually work out the correct dose for you.
Wonderful news about Ral.
Mab, not such good news for your family. I hope they are all coping ok. Still a worry for you.
KAtie did you have Pfizer for your earlier vaccinations? We have our booster on Thursday.

That would be a funny sight cookie.
I hope your family is doing OK Margaret.
K Atie at least you put your time spent in isolation to good use.
