I knew you'd do that whilst I was away for the weekendILB - glad you have joined us I think it is the passion for the TMX that earns us the stars but the TMX itself is the real star.

Welcome eccles - you have done well with your first meal. Boy, you got rid of your other appliances pretty fast.  I gave my rice cooker to DIL but haven't given anything else away yet after 9 months. The breadmaker can go as soon as I find someone to give it to - I could never make a decent loaf in it anyway but I got it for $10 at a fete and it looked as though it had never been used (still does!!). Guess I will hang onto the food processor and mixmaster and other stuff just in case I have to send my TMX back for repairs one of these days - it sure works harder than any other applicance I've ever had.

Now I need to get my act into gear and post some recipes. I think I'll head off and bake some cookies and if they work out post the recipe. DH ate all the cookies we had while we were in Melbourne. I nearly froze over there and returned home last night to 3 or 4 degrees. We're just as bad!!!! 

Thanks Cookie1 and I hope you and DD had a great time in Melbourne - told you it would be cold over there -  you have to go north if you want warmth at this time of the year or rug up and wear scarves, hats and coats like they do in Melbourne.

Nice call CP63.  I've recovered enough to spend our planned weekend in town for our anniversary this Fri & Sat night and when I return home on Sunday I will be looking to see how many new recipes have been posted  Hope everyone rallies around and answers your call - good luck with your efforts everyone.

I voted early on in this poll but have just realised I didn't add a comment so here goes.  I read a recipe right through then write down the whole recipe to how I think it should be converted for the TMX. I can't seem to look at any recipes these days without my little mind doing conversions. When I start the cooking, I just follow my 'new recipe', re-adjusting and recording any changes to my times as I go. I then re-write the recipe which has become very messy at this stage and if it tastes good, come into my computer and let you all know about it

I reckon we should have a separate ice-cream section - Bron would be able to fill it up for us with Cookie1 being not too far behind.
